Wikipedia suggests:

"The end of World War II brought a baby boom to many countries, notably those in Europe, Asia, North America, and Australia. There is some disagreement as to the precise beginning and ending dates of the post-war baby boom, but it is most often agreed to begin in the years immediately after the war, ending more than a decade later; birth rates in the United States started to decline in 1957. In May 1951, Sylvia Porter, a columnist for the New York Post, used the term "boom" to refer to the phenomenon of increased births in post war America. She wrote: "Take the 3,548,000 babies born in 1950. Bundle them into a batch, bounce them all over the bountiful land that is America. What do you get? Boom. The biggest, boomiest boom ever known in history. There are an estimated 77.3 million Americans who were born during this demographic boom in births. Baby Boomers are now middle age and entering senior years. In the economy, many are now retiring and leaving the labor force."

Tips on how to avoid infection as a baby boomer

Consider the following suggestions:

1. If you are ill, stay at home until you are symptom free.
2. If you become ill while at work, go home immediately.
3. Always wash your hands well using soap and water.
4. Use a hand sanitizer to help reduce the spread of infection.
5. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue, if you think that you may cough or sneeze.
6. Cough or sneeze directly into the sleeve over your elbow, rather than directly into your hand.
7. Disinfect surfaces that you and others touch in order to avoid cross-infection.
8 See your doctor immediately if your condition becomes worse.
9. Avoid visiting people and places where there is known to be a high level of infection.
10. Always show your love for others, but avoid hugging and kissing others in excess to prevent spreading infections to each other.

Be healthy and stay happy.

Love is helping others to stay healthy too, so teach them how to stay infection free.

Thank you for doing your part!
